MIKE THAHIGEE
Mike Lathigee is a charismatic leader who has built a string of companies. In University he build his first major company importing container loads of appliances from Daewoo Corporation Korea and renting them to university students. Since then he was Co Founder of Bargain Castle Outlet Centres with over 150 employees that specialized in buying bankrupt retail stores for resale of goods to the public and over the last decade has built the largest investment club ever in Canada with over 5000 members and managed well over 100 million dollars.
He has held several Board positions on publicly traded companies and was the former head of the Board of the hugely successful 1-800-Got-Junk Rubbish Removal company from 2003-05.
Michael is also the Chairman and Founder of United Animal Resource Foundation which focuses on animal rescues and the humane treatment of animals.
Michael is a student of economics and has taught hundreds of thousands in his area of passion. He takes complicated subject matters and breaks it down so everyone can understand and get value whether you have your Ph.D. in Economics or you are just a beginner.
In 2008 out of thousands of applications Michael was a nominated finalist for the covenant award of CEO of the Year presented by Caldwell Partners. He has made and continues to make numerous TV and media appears.
More recently Michael co founded The Children's Foundation of Costa Rica which focuses on improving the lives of orphans in Costa Rica.
